Getting from or to Bergen Airport Flesland, Norway by airport bus and light rail are both convenient. Purchasing the ticket in advance can save the cost.
1. Airport Bus (Flybussen)
Taking the airport bus is the fastest and easy way. Bergen Card does not include this transportation cost but you get 20% discount. If you buy the online ticket, just show it to the chauffeur before boarding. The bus stop is in front of airport, the green bus. The bus departs every 10-15 minutes.

The bus stops are as follows:
1.1 Bergen Busstasjon (Bergen Bus Station)
The first stop from the airport or the last stop before going to the airport. It takes 20 minutes from the airport. If you come from the airport, the bus stop is beside Bergen Strorsenter as below photo. Go straight and turn left, you can go to Bergen Train Station.
If you would like to go to airport from Bergen Bus Station, please go to bus stop "N". You can buy the ticket at the counter or in advance.

1.2 Festplassen
The second stop from the airport. It takes 22 minutes. The bus stop is near Byparken.
1.3. Fish Market (Fisketorget)
It takes 24 minutes from the airport. The bus stop is near Information Centre and Fish Market.
1.4 Radisson Blu Hotel at Bryggen
This is last stop from the airport and the fist stop to airport. The bus stop is near Radisson Blu Royal Hotel Bryggen.
2. Bergen Light Rail (Bybanen)
Travelling by light rail can save transportation cost but takes time. You can buy the ticket at the machine or using the mobile application. It takes 44 minutes between airport and the last stop (Byparken).
Bergen card holders can make use of public transport with Skyss for free in Bergen (including the Light Rail to and from the Airport). Not including the Airport bus from Bergen city center to Bergen Airport Flesland.

Get free entry or discounted admission to museums and attractions, events or sightseeing tours. Travel for free on buses in Bergen and the region.
The Bergen light railway is also free. If you are arriving to Bergen by plane, you can use the Bergen Card to travel for free with Bergen Light Rail to Bergen city center. (Total journey time is approximately 50 minutes). But please note that the card is not valid on NSB trains.

Choose to pick up the card at the Tourist Information or at the Service Center at Bergen Airport Flesland. (Please note that on the Service Center at the Airport you can only collect your card, they do not sell Bergen Cards.)
