Cingjing Farm or Taiwan's Little Switzerland is one of popular sightseeing places in Nantou, Taiwan. The visitor can enjoy the panorama view, have experience to get closer the sheep and watch the sheep shearing show. Cingjing Farm has various attractions; Small Swiss Garden, Green Green Grasslands, Horse Riding Show and etc. I visited only Green Green Grasslands.

From Taipei to Cingjing Farm
Taipei West Bus Station Terminal B → Puli → Take Nantou Bus (that is destined for Songgang or Cueifong to reach for Cingjing Farm)
(A total journey of 260km can be completed within 5 hours.)
From Taichung/Puli to Cingjing Farm
Taichung Train Station
Please take Nantou Bus [Taichung-Puli] to respective stations at Cingjing Farm. Such bus operates from 08:25 am to 12:25 pm every day, with a total of 6 bus rides been made available.
Please take Nantou Bus 6670 [Taichung – THSR Taichung Station – Puli Station – Yuchi Station – Sun Moon Lake], Nantou/Taichung Bus 6899 [Taichung – Puli], or Chuan Hang Bus 6268 [Taichung – Puli]. After reaching Puli Station, please make your transfer ride. Such bus operates every 20 minutes to 30 minutes.

THSR Taichung Station
Please take Nantou Bus [Taichung - Puli] at 3rd platform of 5th exit to reach for respective stations at Qingjing Farm. Such bus operates from 08:25 am to 12:25 pm every day, with a total of 6 bus rides been made available.
Take Nantou Bus [6670] to Puli Transfer Station before making your transfer ride. Such bus operates every 20 minutes to 30 minutes.
2. Car
I rented the car with chauffeur (Day Tour from Taichung: Private Car 10 Hours) from KKday. The price depends on language and number of people. Total price for 1-4 people is about NTD 5,500 for English Tour. The price for Chinese tour is different from English Tour about NTD 900. English tour is more expensive. There is no guide, just only chauffeur. You can create your own itinerary within 5 spots and 10 hours, very convenient. Pick up and returning point can be different spot so you can take your luggage in car. It takes almost 2 hours from Taichung to Cingjing Farm.
Pick up point: Taichung City Center, Taichung Railway Station, Taichung High-Speed Railway Station, Taichung Airport, Cingjing bed and breakfast, Sun Moon Lake bed and breakfast.

Unfortunately, I visited the farm on rainy day so I could not see the blue sky like the photo on farm's website.
Cingjing Farm Map
I started to walk to the right side (Hanyan Pavilion) so that I could see the panorama view from the pavilion. There are maple trees so you can see the colorful foliage in autumn around this pavilion.
I could see Sheep Show Stage from the pavilion. The visitors can watch sheep shearing show. The show is everyday except Wednesdays and rainy days. Unfortunately, I am the one who miss the show. The show take 30 minutes.
The visitors can get closer and take photo with sheep. They walk freely within this farm even on rainy day.
I think Cingjing Farm is not a huge farm comparing with other farm but you can see beautiful view on sunshine days. There are few activities and attractions. The animals are only sheep and horse so I spent time here only 1-1.30 hour approximately.
This is the exit gate. You can tell your chauffeur to pick up around this area. There are the shops (not much) selling food and souvenirs.
